Servant of Christ is here to walk with you, not to sell to you. The studies, essays, and tools on this site stay free — no ads, no popups — because the gospel was given freely, and it should be shared the same way. That is the spirit of Matthew 10:8: “You have received without paying, so give without being paid.”

This ministry also walks with churches that want help reaching the lost, offering free outreach teaching and support, and it designs and hosts websites for ministries that need an online place to bring glory to God.

A gift is not a fee for what you read here. It keeps the next person from meeting a paywall, and it puts others first. James 1:27 still stands: pure religion is to care for orphans and widows in their suffering. That is why support goes first to the missions on our list — safe, Christian homes and care for hurting children — and then to keeping this ministry online.

The yearly deficit keeps rising. If the Lord has used this site in your walk, you do not need a large gift to help carry it. A monthly gift of $5 — less than a cup of coffee — will go a long way. Any amount helps, and we receive every gift with gratitude. Give as the Spirit leads. We hold to Hebrews 13:5: free from the love of money, and satisfied with what God provides.

James 1:27 “What God the Father considers to be pure and genuine religion is this: to take care of orphans and widows in their suffering and to keep oneself from being corrupted by the world.”

History of Giving

Servant of Christ has a history of giving and feeding the poor since the 1970s.  All Christians are not asked but commanded by God to assist those in need.   The will to provide and give to those in need comes from the Holy Spirit that enters when one is truly Born Again.  Giving is a test of God to allow one to realize one’s actual walk with Him.  Also, giving is a privilege because God has already blessed one with the ability to accomplish the test.  Do you want to pass the test, grow closer to God, and have a relationship that blesses you in countless ways?  Then, submit to God, let Go, and let the Holy Spirit and not your spirit direct your walk.  Give today; the Joy of giving, following His command, and growing closer to Him will be your reward and blessing.

Holding to Christ Jesus

I hold to Christ Jesus’s teachings and instructions regarding compensation for Ministers of the Gospel Ministry. When Christ Jesus sent His apostles into the world, He instructed them on how to conduct themselves regarding money.

Matthew 10:9-10, “You have received without paying, so give without being paid. Do not carry any gold, silver, or copper money in your pockets. “

Hebrews 13:5,  “Keep your lives free from the love of money, and be satisfied with what you have. For God has said, I will never leave you; I will never abandon you.”

Christ Jesus explicitly stated that any Christian working full—or part-time—in the Gospel Ministry should not enrich themselves with gifts God gives them freely. Therefore, by “Partnering with me,” you share my expenses and blessings to further the Kingdom of God. However, even though ministry costs continue to rise and unexpected additional benevolence is given to missionaries with no formal support when the need becomes critical, I request that you first give to the ministries listed on my preferred Missions Page.
