My Christmas Letter to You;

As we prepare to celebrate the birth of Christ Jesus, let us be guided by scripture rather than by tradition or worldly desires this holiday season. In the past, we have all, in one way or another, shown forgiveness and mercy. However, as the return of Christ Jesus draws nearer, the world is increasingly filled with hatred and bitterness emanating from Satan.  So, this year, give a gift that was freely given to you. A gift that will change hearts and overcome the world and its demonic nature. This year, give Grace.

Every Christian is called to mirror Christ Jesus by bestowing the blessing of grace on others without regard to merit or transgression (1 Corinthians 11:1, Ephesians 5:1), because we ourselves have received grace (Matthew 6:14-15; Colossians 3:13). God’s grace was not earned; it was given freely (Ephesians 2:8-9). Therefore, we have the responsibility and privilege to share and freely extend the grace we have received with others, assisting God in drawing (John 6:44), and fulfilling God’s calling to be the salt of the world (Matthew 5:13-16).

To extend grace to others, consider the following practical ways:

  1. Be kind and gentle, allow your words and actions to imitate Christ Jesus.
  2. Look for opportunities to extend simple acts of kindness that can make a significant difference.
  3. Do not try to win an argument; always respond with grace.
  4. Do not just forgive those who wronged you, but extend grace by emulating Christ and bless them.

Remember Matthew 5:16: “Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.”

In closing, may this benediction bless you and your family. 2 Corinthians 13:14 “May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with you all.”

God Bless
